NOTD Sapphire in the Snow by OPI

Hey everyone!!

Today I have for you one of my favorite colors. It's a deep royal purple and you all know how much I love dark colors. This polish never looks black in any light but it sometimes comes close. It took two coats for full opacity and didn't chip for quite a few days actually. This color is discontinued but I believe Zoya's Pinta is an exact dupe. If you love dark colors definitely try the Zoya one out, especially since their formula has been so awesome in the polishes I've tried recently.

Now, onto the fun stuff ladies :) I will be posting a giveaway tomorrow including some Glitter Gal holos, China Glaze Kaleidoscope holos, and a few other HTF polishes but I wanted to give my loyal readers a little extra entry chance. If you comment on this page with your email address and follower name before I post the giveaway post you will get an extra entry on top of the entries you will get when you enter on the giveaway post. This is just a little extra thank you to the ladies who always leave comments and make my day. I hope you guys understand how much I love getting your comments!!! And make sure that if you do leave a comment on here that you also leave one on the giveaway post I'll be putting up tomorrow so that you get all the normal entries as well!! Thank you again for all your comments!!!

NOTD Zoya Veruschka

Hello everyone!!

Today I have for you Zoyas Veruschka which is one of their matte-velvet shades. Application was great as I have now come to expect from Zoya and dry time was fast. It took two thin coats for me to get full coverage. I love this polish. Somehow, they make it have the most amazing depth that you'll be able to see in the pictures. I started by leaving it matte and then sealed it with a top coat to make it stick for a few days. Click to enlarge! :)

 Matte
Matte (Sorry for the weird hand color above :/ it just really allowed my camera to capture the color in that bad lighting. It didn't give me the slightest bit of lobster hands in real life.)

Do any of you guys own this polish? If so what are your thoughts on it? I cant get over how great it is. The depth of it, especially when matte, blows my socks off! I hope you guys are all doing well. Thanks for reading!!

Zoya Maya

Hey lovely ladies!!

First, let me get this out there, Blogger has been seriously the worst lately and just isnt letting me respond to comments >:(. I promise I have been reading them and will respond as soon as blogger lets me. I seriously love when you guys leave comments because you guys leave great tips and suggestions!! So please dont stop!!! I will make it up to you guys with a giveaway that includes lots of HOLOS!!!! Okay now onto the polish :)

Today I have for you my first Zoya polish. Now I have to admit, I have about ten different bottles of Zoya nail polishes but just never really tried them out because they were at the back of my stash. After seeing different Zoya posts from lots of bloggers I decided to finally get them out to play. I have been doing a lot of funky/darker manicures lately so I wanted to go for something summery. I don't usually where pinks but when I saw this color I knew I had to make an exception. This is the most juicy jellybeanie grapefruity color ever, it is just so yummy and I got about a million comments on it which always feels good! The application was amazing I could have honestly gotten away with one coat but I didnt expect that so my first coat was sloppy. The formula just glided on no pulling at the cuticle or patchy spots. I seriously cannot rave about this polish enough. I did hear that using SV on Zoyas was a bad idea so I just used my OPI DS Top Coat and the OPI drip dry to make it dry faster and it really didnt take that long and it worked out great!!! Onto the pictures, the pictures are pulling slightly more orange than in real life (its slightly pinker). Click to enlarge :)

The color on my ring finger in the photo above and in the bottle is about as close to the actual color as my camera would take. For some reason it just did not want to take a picture of the right color!
See how juicy looking it is!! I LOVE it!!

If you guys are looking for the perfect summer color this is it!! It also made my skin look really tan which was definitly a plus. The last great thing about this was the staying power, I am on day three right now with basically zero tip wear and no chips!! Thats amazing especially considering how rough my summer job is on my hands!! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and look forward to some more Zoyas soon, as I loved this one!

NOTD Me + Blue

Hey everyone!!!
How are you guys doing??
Today I have for you my first Nicole by OPI nail polish, Me + Blue. Now, I have to say that application for this polish was a mess, it was so thick and goopy and just terrible. I put about 10 nail polish thinner drops into the bottle and it helped somewhat but Nicoles just don't seem to have that great of formulas. Along with that, the brush was a mess, it was all wonky with pieces sticking out and just sort of thick and stubby. Not a fan. Now after I got past all that it was such a beautiful color which is why I dealt with the formula instead of just giving up right away on it. It did only take two coats for full coverage and was beautiful and shiny after the top coat. Onto the pictures :)

The holographic sparkles in this polish make it so beautiful that I could not stop staring at my nails in the sun. I got this polish at Walmart so if you don't mind working with the formula for this beautiful result run out and get it ASAP!!!! I LOVE ITTTT!!!!! Remember that you can always click on the pictures to see them bigger with more detail!! Have a great night!

My first Deborah Lipmann polish! :)

Hey everyone!!

I tried out my first DL polish, Across the Universe, and I LOVE it! This was all thanks to a follower who left a comment recommending DL polishes and I'm so glad she did!! She was spot on so thank you!!! Application was awesome especially for a glitter. It took three coats and only 1 coat of Seche Vite on top to smooth it out!! I got this off eBay for $13 dollars which I was pretty happy about as well!! If you guys are wanting to try one of her polishes out I suggest this one. There is just such great depth and sparkle to it. It's a navy blue jelly base with small blue shimmers/tiny glitter (not sure what to classify it as completely) and larger blue and green hex glitter. I'm sure you guys have all seen swatches before of this one but here are mine :) as always you can click on the pictures to see them larger. Enjoy :)

You can really see the small blue shimmers in this one above, they just give that little something extra to the polish that makes the cost worth it.
I really adore this nail polish!! It sparkles even more in person! I hope you guys are all doing great! Talk to you soon!

NOTD SH Hidden Treasure

Hey ladies!!

I'm sorry its been so long since my last post! I had my finals this past week so I had a lot of studying to do with really no time to post so I have a ton of manis saved up for you from the past week. I'll make this one a quick one, I used one coat of Sinful Colors black and a coat of Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure. It was beautiful and so quick and simple. A good dupe for Hidden Treasure is Nubar 2010 in case you guys are looking! This nail polish is beautiful all the flakies and different colors it changes to although I'm sure you've seen it before! Onto the pictures! Make sure to click on the pictures to enlarge them so that you can see all the wonderful flakies!!

Then by the second day I got a little bored and decided to switch it up a little bit by throwing on some of Essie's Matte About You topcoat.

I hope that you guys liked this mani!! And look forward to a lot more posts coming way more often as well as an awesome giveaway! Have a great night!!!!!
