LaRosa Green Crackle

Hello ladiess!!

How are you?? Today I have for you one of twelve crackle nail polishes that I ordered on eBay two months ago but never really had the chance to try. I believe I got the entire lot for $37.00 which was a pretty good deal considering how well they work and they come in beautiful colors. There was even a pink with holographic shimmer particles in it, its so so pretty. I'll have to post some swatches of it soon! For now though, here is their green crackle over Glitter Gals 3D Sparkle in Deep Green which I have pictures alone of here. I love it and I haven't seen a green crackle anywhere else. Enjoyy!

If you guys like it I would just head over to eBay and pick some up! They are pretty affordable compared to some of the others on the market. I'll talk to you guys soon!!

My First Scotch Tape Mani!

Hey ladies!!

I was reading Chloe's blog yesterday and finally decided to just bite the bullet and take a stab at some nail art. I always love seeing the designs that she comes up with and admire how creative and beautiful her nails look afterwards. I have never really tried nail art at all so I was nervous about just completely butchering this mani but I think aside from a few minor mistakes they turned out pretty well! I did the patchwork mani which you can see her post about here. I used Milani's one coat glitter in Red Sparkle, Sinful's Black on Black, and OPI's Got the Blues for Red for which I have a post about here. Enjoy :)

The sparkle on this was really amazing! I could not stop staring at my nails especially in when I was out in the sun. I really enjoyed doing this nail art and am definitely going to start trying some more out. I hope that this will be something you guys enjoy as well! I also wanted to let you guys know that I appreciate every one of you who read my blog it seriously makes my day when I get on my blog and know that people have checked out my posts. Look for a giveaway very soon!!

Talk to you guys soon!!

Glitter Gal Polishes!

Hey everyone!!

Today I have the five Glitter Gal polishes that I ordered from there site a few weeks ago. One of them is a My Private Jet dupe which I found very exciting. I found out a little more about the company and their polishes that I thought I'd let you guys know first. One, they are Big 3 Free which I'm all about, especially when the polishes have a great formula like these do. Two, they use true holographic particles in their polishes which is extremely expensive, making their polishes very high quality. They have a really smooth finish and have the holo effect of the old OPI DS polishes that everyone longs for. While all the other companies are skimping on ingredients which makes the holo effect not so holo at all (ie China Glaze Tronica polishes IMO) Glitter Gal takes the time and money to make real beautiful holos. Therefore, the ingredients needed to make holo polishes still exist as some of us have wondered (most companies just don't want to spend the extra money to make them). Anyway :) onto the pictures. All these polishes took two coats with base and top coat. You can obviously tell how absolutely in love with the polishes I am and it helps that it seems the company is extremely dedicated to well made products. Click to enlarge :)

This first one is their Black Holo <3

Marine Blue Holo :)

Dark Purple Holo

Suede Holo

Glitter Gal 3D Sparkle in Deep Green

I love these nail polishes. I wore the last one as my mani for the past four days and have only had minor tip wear so I will definitely buy from them again. The only downside is shipping so I make sure to buy all the ones that I want at once. I was thinking about doing a giveaway with some of the holos. What do you guys think? Let me know if you guys would like that!!!
Talk to you soon!

Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoats!

Hello everyone!!!!

How did your Wednesdays go?
I stopped in CVS today to pick up a prescription and instead of going through the drive through I decided to go inside. This ended up being very lucky because as I walked in I saw all the Sally Hansen crackles out with one left of each so of course I snatched them up. Now, I didn't get the black and the silver because I felt it would be pointless considering I have the silver and black shatters from OPI already and don't want to waste too much money ha :). I do also have all the China Glaze Crackles but wanted to see how the formulas and colors differed on the nail compared to the Sally Hansen ones. I'm just going to get straight into the pictures here!

A picture of them while I was still in CVS because I was so excited I had to send a picture to my man right away hehe :)
L to R: Snow Blast (over black), Fuchsia Shock (over black), Antiqued Gold (over black), Vintage Violet (over mint), Distressed Denim (over mint), and Cherry Smash (over mint).
L to R: Same order as picture above
Cherry Smash, Snow Blast, Fuchsia Shock, Vintage Violet, Antiqued Gold, and Distressed Denim.

These were awesome! They all crackled really well, even the ones with shimmer in them unlike the china glaze purple crackle Fault Line. There are so many possible combos you could do with these I'll be excited to see what other bloggers come up with. Shoot me an email with a link to your blog if you have any cool creations with these!! If you are lemming for these run out and get them because they are selling out fast!! I hope you guys are all doing well! I'll be back with an awesome mani for you guys tomorrow!!!

RAOK :) Thank you!!!!

Hey ladies,

So, today I went out to get my mail not really expecting anything and inside was a big box!! Now, I had no idea what could possibly be inside and of course got really excited. I noticed that the postage had come from the Netherlands and I only know one person from there, Regni of the Lacquerista, who I had sent my suedes to because I never used them and felt she would appreciate them much more.

I get inside and open the box and guess what I found :) the essence metallics which I have been lemming for for ages now AND an H&M polish, two BeYu polishes (375 and 327), and and Estee Lauder polish in Fuchsia! They are all stunning, I could not be more excited and know that the essence metallics will make my man happy which makes me even more excited. He loves the nifty polishes such as metallics and crackles.

Thank you so much Regni!!! You did not have to do this :))))

You guys will see swatches of all these very soon because I want to use the metallics so badly!!!
Below are pictures of the things that she sent me! Thank you again :))

I love love love them!! Look forward to some awesome swatches!!!

I FOUND THE UNTHINKABLE!!!!! A MPJ DUPE!!!!

Hey ladies!!!

I'm sorry its been so long since I've posted I had the flu this past week and am still not even feeling well enough to polish my nails :( but I have some great things coming up for you guys!!

I wanted to make this quick post today to tell you about something that is so so exciting to me and I hope that you guys will be excited too!! As I told you in my My Private Jet post I had bought some polishes from Glitter Gal Cosmetics that included a black holo that I was hoping would be comparable to MPJ. Well ladies, not only was it comparable but it was EXACTLY THE SAME!!! I swear I had the biggest smile on my face when I swatched it on my nail wheel. The application was perfect two coats and done. It is fourteen dollars a bottle I believe, but when you think about how much it would cost to get your hands on an actual bottle of MPJ the original (upwards of $70 IF you can find it) that is not very expensive. I got a couple different bottles of their holos and all of them are very similar to OPI's awesome holos like DS Glamour. You have to check these out if you love holos! The holoness is so strong on all of them. You really get what you hoped for.

Glitter Gals Black holo is on the left and their beige holo is on the right

Swatch from my MPJ post a few days ago.

Seriously you guys, if you have been lemming for MPJ then you have to get this color. I'm in love with it!!! Once I'm finally feeling better I will do a whole review on all of their polishes that I bought. I hope you guys have a great night!!

Mothers Day Mani

Hey everyone!!

I hope you guys all had a great mothers day!! I got to meet up with a lot of my family for brunch today so it was a great day for me :) Just a quick post on the mani I did today. I used OPI's Pink-a-doodle which is probably my all time favorite light pink. It has this beautiful hot pink shimmer running through it that reminds me of Chanels "secret shimmer" polishes, its not super noticeable but just makes the color glow and look so beautiful. It took 3 quick thin coats and I was out the door. You can also lay down a coat of white first so that you have no chance of VNL, but I don't mind that because I have quite short nails so I didn't use a white. I hope that you guys enjoy :)

Sorry about the dry cuticles :) i just gave them a lemony flutter bath. Anyway, this picture is extremly color accurate.
A blurry picture to try to capture the hot pink shimmer, if you click on it you can see it even better.
In this particular picture the color on the nail isn't very color accurate but I did notice that it captured the shimmer in the top of the bottle by my index finger so I wanted to show that to you guys.

If you're looking for a pink I would seriously check this one out, I bought a back up because I am about half way through the bottle now. It's just so beautiful especially when you see it in person. Happy mothers day to all you mothers out there!! Including my mom, I love you mom!!!!!!! What were your guy's mothers day manis and what did you do for mothers day?

Have a great night!!!!

My Private Jet Original

Hey ladies!!!

This was my manicure for yesterday but it was a crazy day yesterday so I am finally getting around to posting it now. When I first heard the rumors that My Private Jet was starting to look different than the original I immediately went out that day to two different beauty stores in order to buy the rest of what they had in stock which was two of the original charcoal holo versions. So, I know have three :)) My first one is almost all used up though. This is my absolute favorite color of allllll time so having the back ups makes me feel extremely happy. I would wear this color everyday but I'm afraid of using it all up ha :). I am always on the lookout for a dupe to finally come out and once I find one you guys will be the first to know. I just recently bought some polishes off an Australian website that included a black holo so once I get them I will swatch it and hopefully have great news for you guys!!

Anywayy, I normally just do one or two coats of MPJ over a standard black polish because holos can look quite patchy sometimes because of the drag. This time I just did four coats of MPJ because I wanted to see it on its own and it was just as beautiful as ever!! In the future though, I will continue to do it over black because it gives the same effect and uses less :) Now onto the insane picture spam :) click to enlarge :)

This is a black holo that is as holo and as beautiful as can be. I love it love it love it so I had to share it with you guys! What's your favorite nail polish color and what's your biggest polish lemming? I would love to know!
Have a great night guys!!!

OPI Funkey Dunkey

Hey girls!!
Just a quick post today. It's been a very busy day and late tonight I finally got the chance to paint my nails so I went for an untried. It just took two quick coats with really no clean up needed because the formula was pretty nice. The color is a tiny bit warmer in real life than it is in these pictures. Enjoy :)

I love dark purples and creams so this is obviously a winner for me. I hope that you guys liked it. Please leave comments if you wish, I LOVE reading them :) Talk to you guys soon!!

Essie Mint Candy Apple

Hey everyone!!

I decided to go with a more pastel color today as I have been doing a lot of dark colors lately. I hadn't tried Essie's Mint Candy Apple yet so I gave it a whirl. I have to say this was one of the worst polishes I have everrrrrrr applied. It was thin but goopy at the same time, it was streaky, and just a nightmare. I love the color so much but I'm not sure I'll ever use it again because it was such a pain! Although, looking at my nails now the color is so so beautiful that I probably will end up using it again :) the things we do for beautiful nails!

These pictures are three coats with base and top coat:

It's pulling a little too blue in these pictures, it's slightly greener. It is really pretty though and I'm hoping that I just got a dud bottle or something. That's all for now :)
Talk to you guys soon
