Orly Androgynie

Hello everyone!

Today I have for you Orly's Androgynie! Its a beautiful black based polish with tiny goldish glitter and larger multicolored hexagonal glitters. In the bottle it is amazing and on the nail it is very pretty but I can't say that I was ecstatic about it. First I'm going to insert a bottle picture so that you can see the difference between the bottle and the nail.

As you can see, it is STUNNING in the bottle and I was so excited to put it on. When I had finished painting my nails, top coat and everything, I was disappointed. The hexagonal glitters are a lot more sparse on the nail and the black base almost seems to be a little too heavy and covers up the brightness of the glitter. I hope that makes sense. I will now put in the pictures of the nails so you can see the difference clearly.

They really are quite different. Don't get me wrong I still loved it on my nails. It was beautiful but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be and just wasn't as exciting. I hope you guys have a wonderful evening!

A Little Rant

Hello everyone!

I just have to blow some steam off right now because I am a little frustrated at the moment. I was just ordering some Konad supplies off of their website and was really unhappy with how it went. The whole checkout was just a pain in the ass. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but I am SO irritated!! The checkout kept coming up as not secure which freaked me out but luckily I was able to pay through PayPal otherwise I would not have even finished my order. When my order first went through it didn't even take me to the page to pay it just went back to the home screen so I was so confused. Then, I got an email from them telling me I needed to pay, which I knew obviously, and the whole checkout out from that point forth was hard to navigate and honestly I'm just really let down right now. I'm sure lots of people have had nice experiences with them but I really didn't. I cant say anything on the shipping or yet as I just ordered the products tonight but I will let you know. I wanted to start doing some more nail art for you guys, which was my reason for ordering the plates, so please leave some suggestions down below. Sorry again about the rant I just had to let you guys know. Please let me know about your guy's experience with them so I know if this was just a fluke or a common thing when ordering from there.

NOTD: Orly's Rage

Hey lovelies!

Today I have for you Orly's Rage. It's a metallic rose gold color and it really is gorgeous and right on trend. I'm not a huge fan of metallic colors but I really liked this one and kept it on for quite a few days. It wore extremely well considering I had it on for five days and only had very slight tip wear.

It only took to coats to be opaque and the formula was perfect! I am really happy with this polish and will definitely be wearing it again!

Thanks for visiting! Be back with another post soon!

Dior Mitzah Nail Polish- Camel

Hi there!

I hope you guys are all doing well! Today I have for you one of the Dior Mitzah Bricard collection nail polishes called Camel. I also have the other one, which is Ebony, and I will have that swatched for you all very soon. As soon as I got my email from Sephora that this collection came out I bought both of the nail polishes and two of the leopard print eye shadows because I was thinking about giving one away at some point. For some background info on the Mitzah Bricard, Christian Dior's muse, here's a link to an awesome website.

This was a pretty yellow based nude which looked even more yellow with my skin tone for some reason. I'm still really happy with it and the application was great. I think this is my first Dior polish I've reviewed on here. I only have three of them so that would make sense. :)

Have a great night everyone!!

NOTD!!!!

Hey everyone!!!!!!!

A few days ago I wore this mani and LOVED it! It's POP Beauty's Ultraviolet as the base color with Glitter In My Stocking, which is Nicole by OPI, as an accent nail. My camera was having the hardest time ever picking up the color of Ultraviolet so I'm going to link to my Jo'Mina post, here,  because they are pretty much dupes.

I could not stop staring at my nails and got a ton of compliments from complete strangers. I was so excited about it!

Both of these colors really really impressed me. The formula for both was great and the glitter had so much dimension! If you find either of these snatch them up. You wont be disappointed!!

I'm Back!!!!!

Hey ladies!!!
I'm sorry it's been so long but I've missed blogging terribly. After a loss I decided to take a little time off to get everything together and what not. I'm back now though and I could not be more excited. I have a giant back log of manicures from the time I was gone and I cant wait to share them all with you!!

I thought I'd start with the manicure I did on my mom as a practice run for her up coming wedding :). I gave her a full mani with all the proper pampering. I couldn't be more excited about the upcoming event.

The color is OPI's Got the Blues for Red. It looks gorgeous on her and its going to look great with her dress. Sort of a retro feel to it. Ive done a post on the color before when I wore it but this goes to show that it really is such a classic color!!! Anyone can wear it! I hope you guys like it and I cant wait to keep posting!! I hope you guys will have me back!!!

OPI DS Design

Hey everyone!!

Today I have for you DS Design by OPI. I've been on quite a holo kick lately for some reason and this one was no exception. This is one of the amazing holos that OPI used to make so I'm not sure how readily available it is anymore :/ I wish OPI would listen to all of us and start making these again. This is a sheer polish so it took me three coats to build up the coverage. Onto the pictures. As always click on them to enlarge!

This color is incredible!! If you can get your hands on it snatch it up for sure!! I hope that you guys liked the color! As always leave your requests and ideas in the comments below!! Talk to you all soon!!!!

Swap with Cathy from More Nail Polish :)

Hey everyone!!

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. We had a girl just stop coming to work, no notice or anything, so I had to pick up quite a few shifts which sucked :/. Anyway, its pretty much all back to normal now so expect regular posts again!! I missed it so much.

A couple of weeks ago Cathy, from More Nail Polish, and I did a swap. She frankend me up some magnetic holos and I sent her the KleanColor chunky holos which I may have to buy myself now after seeing how beautiful the red one was on her blog. She sent me black, blue, and green magnetic holos and it was love at first sight. Naturally though, I went to put on the green one and could not, for the life of me, find a magnet anywhere! I was so set on the color though that I had to put it on anyway. You can't find a dark green holo anywhere so I was so excited about this one. Its beautiful, I think Cathy should start a polish shop :) what do you guys think? I used two coats for full opacity and gosh am I in love!!!! Click to enlarge the pics :)

I will have another post up soon of either the blue or black holo ones because I went out and bought a magnet :) I cannot wait to try them out. I am so so so in love with them!!! THANK YOUUUU so so much Cathy!!!!!! You're awesome!!!!! Talk to you guys again soon!!

NOTD Zoya Bela

Hey lovelies!

Today I have for you another Zoya that I got because of seeing it in the movie Black Swan. When I was watching the movie, being the polish lover that I am, of course I noticed the nail polish bottle in the one seen and had to have it and find out what it was. It was Zoya's Bela and it fit perfectly with the ballerina look.

When I put the first coat on I thought to myself, "oh gosh, this is so sheer no one is even going to notice it". When I put on the second coat it surprised me and actually had quite a bit of coverage and then by the third coat it was mostly opaque. Sooo, basically you could use this as a sheer wash of color alone or for a french mani but you can also build it up to a beautiful, light, milky, jelly pink. It's a real multi-tasker. :)

It's a beautiful color and it makes for a nice break from all the crazy and bright manis I've been doing lately. Also, I should add that I used Seche Vite as my topcoat here and had no problems with it. I've read in several different places that it causes bad things to happen to an other wise great mani when used with Zoya but it looked smooth and worked as wonderful as ever for me. I hope that you guys enjoyed and let me know what you think of the color. Will you be picking it up?

Until next time!

Fourth of July Mani!!

Hey everyone!!

I hope you guys are all having an amazing long weekend! I know I am! I wanted to do something fun and interesting considering all the fire works that go with the fourth are so beautiful. I saw the splatter mani that The Polishaholic did and immediately thought that I had to try it. I used colors from LeChats Dare to Wear Back to Basics collection that I did a review on here. I seriously cannot even explain how in love I am with this mani. I will definitely be trying this again with different colors!!

Right Hand

Right Hand

Left Hand

This was my first attempt at this and I think it went really well. The technique wasn't hard at all and I've already gotten a lot of compliments on it today which is usually when I know a mani is a winner. Also wanted to let you guys know I finally have the picture up for my giveaway post! I hope you guys have a great Fourth of July!!! Thanks for reading!!

NOTD and Giveaway Update

Hey girls!

I hope everyone is doing well! In light of the amazing weather we've had the past few days, which is very unusual for Ohio lately, I had to put on a holo. I also thought it went well with my giveaway going on right now. I chose one of my favorites, China Glaze's Lets Do It In 3D, I couldn't have picked a better color because when I was in the sun I could not take my eyes off my nails. It took only two coats and it was flawless, no dragging whatsoever. Onto the beautiful pictures, click to see more detail :)

 Flash
 Flash
 Sunlight
Artificial Light

This definitely made my day and its hard to keep myself from repainting my nails this color when I do my next mani. It just catches the eye like no other. It's also unusual because of the fact that its a grey-black holo, you don't see those much. No doubt I'll have this on my nails sometime soon but for now I'll change to something new :/

I just wanted to let you guys know that I will also be adding another Ozotic Pro holo (511) to the giveaway. I've had it in my stash for a little while and have never used it. Not being much of a pink lover I suppose it doesn't appeal to me as much as my darker holos. I'm a sucker for dark colors in general. Anyway, I'm adding it to the giveaway in the hopes that it will go to someone who appreciates it a whole bunch!! Until next time!

NOTD Sapphire in the Snow by OPI

Hey everyone!!

Today I have for you one of my favorite colors. It's a deep royal purple and you all know how much I love dark colors. This polish never looks black in any light but it sometimes comes close. It took two coats for full opacity and didn't chip for quite a few days actually. This color is discontinued but I believe Zoya's Pinta is an exact dupe. If you love dark colors definitely try the Zoya one out, especially since their formula has been so awesome in the polishes I've tried recently.

Now, onto the fun stuff ladies :) I will be posting a giveaway tomorrow including some Glitter Gal holos, China Glaze Kaleidoscope holos, and a few other HTF polishes but I wanted to give my loyal readers a little extra entry chance. If you comment on this page with your email address and follower name before I post the giveaway post you will get an extra entry on top of the entries you will get when you enter on the giveaway post. This is just a little extra thank you to the ladies who always leave comments and make my day. I hope you guys understand how much I love getting your comments!!! And make sure that if you do leave a comment on here that you also leave one on the giveaway post I'll be putting up tomorrow so that you get all the normal entries as well!! Thank you again for all your comments!!!

NOTD Zoya Veruschka

Hello everyone!!

Today I have for you Zoyas Veruschka which is one of their matte-velvet shades. Application was great as I have now come to expect from Zoya and dry time was fast. It took two thin coats for me to get full coverage. I love this polish. Somehow, they make it have the most amazing depth that you'll be able to see in the pictures. I started by leaving it matte and then sealed it with a top coat to make it stick for a few days. Click to enlarge! :)

 Matte
Matte (Sorry for the weird hand color above :/ it just really allowed my camera to capture the color in that bad lighting. It didn't give me the slightest bit of lobster hands in real life.)
 Matte

Do any of you guys own this polish? If so what are your thoughts on it? I cant get over how great it is. The depth of it, especially when matte, blows my socks off! I hope you guys are all doing well. Thanks for reading!!
