Fourth of July Mani!!

Hey everyone!!

I hope you guys are all having an amazing long weekend! I know I am! I wanted to do something fun and interesting considering all the fire works that go with the fourth are so beautiful. I saw the splatter mani that The Polishaholic did and immediately thought that I had to try it. I used colors from LeChats Dare to Wear Back to Basics collection that I did a review on here. I seriously cannot even explain how in love I am with this mani. I will definitely be trying this again with different colors!!

This was my first attempt at this and I think it went really well. The technique wasn't hard at all and I've already gotten a lot of compliments on it today which is usually when I know a mani is a winner. Also wanted to let you guys know I finally have the picture up for my giveaway post! I hope you guys have a great Fourth of July!!! Thanks for reading!!

NOTD Violetta Sonia Kashuk and Update

Hey everyone!!

Today I wanted to show you another Sonia Kashuk nail polish because for the price I really think that they are great. They are $4.99 per .5 oz bottle.

The application on this was great. Perfect after two coats. This is a dusty purple cream...I LOVE it! This is totally worth checking out. I also was made aware by one of my followers, Wendy, that these are limited edition colors for the spring so if you like this color or the other Sonia Kashuk color from this post go pick them up from Target before they get sold out! (Thanks Wendy!!!)

All these pictures are pretty dead on with what the color actually looks like. It's amazing in my opinion!

Also, I would like to thank you guys for being so supportive and nice about this giveaway. Its always nice to have people say thank you for the giveaway when they leave their info. And since you guys have been so awesome I went out and bought two more silver shatters so now I will be having three winners that will each get a full size never used bottle of OPI Silver Shatter. If you haven't entered yet make sure to enter before midnight on April 29th!! Click here to go to the giveaway post!

One more thing, I just wanted to give you guys an update on the Dare to Wear polishes that I posted about here. I wore the blue one and after three days I still didn't even have tip wear! They looked like I had just painted them! If I had any doubts about this polish the other day they are completely gone now. Seriously amazing! Sorry about the long post, have a great night guys!

Dare to Wear: Back to Basics

Hey everyone! I hope your weekends are going well.

A couple weeks ago I was on eBay and I saw this collection and decided to try it out. I think I got it for about 20 dollars.
Anyway I wanted to try them on for you guys so that I could let you know what I think. The only polish from this collection that I had heard about before was the green called enchanted forest, it has been on a few other blogs and its as amazing as they said. Lets get on to the pictures :)

This is what the set looks like. It comes with a black, white, red, blue, yellow, green, and top coat:
This is two coats of the yellow, Yellow Twist. It applied really well especially for a yellow:
The next one is a red, True Red. It only took ONE coat to look perfect:
The next one is a blue, Ocean View. I probably could have gotten away with one coat but I did two just in case:

The last one I swatched is a green, Enchanted Forest. This is very similar to Nars Zulu just a tad lighter, you can tell its green. It took two coats:

As you can see they are basic colors but the fact that they applied so freaking well makes them a must have for me! Enchanted Forest and Ocean View were definitely my favorites but it was also nice to find a yellow that wasn't a serious pain to apply. I didn't swatch the black and white because they really are just your basic black and white. I hope that you guys enjoyed!! Make sure to leave comments if you would like! I love reading them.
XOXO Sam
